What motivates ourselves to make, maintain or change things? Do we want to make our lives better? Or do we carefully keep artefacts because we might be afraid of volatility? Do we eventually always like doing and changing something or do we want to place a memorable mark "For Tomorrow"? I like the unexpected beauty of the things in daily life and the incidental changes and small inventions besides an intention. Although to me the objects are only fragments out of an assumed reality, they somehow seem to speak about their environment, past and future. I like to explore, if the details of the things can tell something about the people who made the objects and if the found traces of doing may be seen in a regional, temporal and therefore also in a social context.
