The outdoor space, walls, streets, shops windows, are scattered with « fingerprints », that are language of human being. I crossed Beyrouth, from end to end, in search of these ones.
more... I am working about urban landscapes, into their details, and about what they can suggest about their inhabitants.
I cross streets, the neighbourhoods: the city.
Human being has propensity to make daily environment his own. To decorate by simples items (objects, posters, colors …), to induce by the little, a complex narration : some humans « fingerprints » into the inhabited territory.
I use the tight framing in order to desunite the picture and its location. A loss of markers is created in order to be focused on what the human being gives us about him into the street.
I wish we can imagine who is this human being we can’t see. How is his life.
To imagine stories about him from a simple object or just a color on a piece of wall.
Some humans « fingerprints » in Beirut.
