Margaret Dearing

Born in 1979, Margaret Dearing is a French fine art photographer, living and working in Paris. She graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy in 2001, then from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie, in Arles, in 2004. Her groups of photographs are concerned with questions linked to landscape, revealing temporal and formal relations between natural and man made spaces, representing an environment which seems difficult to live in. Her works has been presented in solo shows ( recently : La Couleuvre, Saint Ouen, 2016; Progress Gallery, Paris, 2015), and group shows ( recently :Laurent Mueller Galler, Paris, 2015; Gallery Jeune Création, Paris, 2014, at the Galerie Lab Artyfact, Paris, 2014; at the Galerie Immix, Paris, 2013. Margaret Dearing also teaches photography to art students and participates in curatorial projects presenting young photographers' work for the non-profit organization Jeune Création in Paris.
