I started photography when I was student in Anthropology University. I was interested about different societies and ways of life around the world. Humans and theirs practices are in the center of my work. My approach evolve into documentary and narrative photography, where portrait photography is in the center of my body of work. I work on long-term project about contemporary and society issues in North Africa and the Mediterranean, especially about intangible heritage, minorities and human rights and public space. Between 2011 and 2016 , I was based in Tunis (Tunisia) to document the different challenges of the democratic transition in Tunisia. I am member of Haytham Pictures Agency since 2013.
