Kotryna Ula Kiliulyte

Kotryna Ula Kiliulyte is a Lithuanian artist working and living in Glasgow, Scotland. She has studied in Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts and the Glasgow School of Art from where she holds a 1st Class BA in Photography and a Masters in Fine Art with distinction. Her work is centered around the photographic image, but also extends to moving image and installation. Kotryna has exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently in Trongate 103 Glasgow, Kaunas Gallery Lithuania, Rovinj Photodays Croatia, and British Council New Delhi India. Kotryna's work focuses on themes of history, politics, identity, memory and change, exploring different strategies picture making. Kotryna has been awarded a Lithuanian Culture Council grant, an Ideastap Innovators Fund grant and Glasgow Educational and Marshall Trust grant. She is currently working towards three exhibitions later in the year in Glasgow, two of which will present new work.
