Michele Di Donato, when he was 9, received, as gift, his first camera: a Diana F. He loves reportage photography and conceptual art, as well as I love to express himself in black and white, more suitable in his opinion with his way of understanding the image. He also like the use of color, still very faint, sketchy, when necessary. In 2013 he was Art Director of the Diffrazioni Festival of Photography for which he organized personal and collective exhibitions of well known Italian photographers. He participated in many photographic competitions, Italian and international, achieved excellent, the latest of which are: • Honorable Mention to the portfolio "Sicilian People" in MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL PHOTO AWARD 2015; • Winner in FIIPA International Awards 2016, in “Stories” category with the portfolio "Rapid Eye Movement" • Winner in 16th CHINA INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC AWARDS 2016 in “Documentary” and “Art” categories. • Winner (Gold and Brown medal) in Doboj Int. Photo Salon 2016 in “Child” and “City Life” categories. He exposed in numerous solo and group exhibition, the latest of which are: • “LE VIE DELLE FOTO”, April 2016 with the project “Fautographie”, Trieste • “MOSTRE DIFFUSE FOTOGRAFIA”, May 2016 with the project “no-places”, Magliano Sabina (RI) • 16th CHINA INTERNATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC ART EXHIBITION, May 2016 with the project “The ongoing moment”, Zhengzhou, Lishui, China's Henan Province
