Graduated from Superior School of Journalism of Lille (France), I mainly work as a photographer of architecture within public projects and for private companies. Since 2011, I’m running a personal project dedicated to the place of history, conflicts and individuals in the representations of urban landscapes. By extrapolating the codes and stereotypes which underlie the depictions of contemporary architecture, this work explores the distance between imaginary cities and the reality of places. It particularly focuses on capitals that have been targeted for ideological reasons, such as Sarajevo, Phnom Penh or Beirut. It has been exhibited, amongst others, in Brazil (International Festival of Photography of Belo Horizonte, 2015 and 2016), in Cambodia (PhotoPhnomPenh, 2015), in Spain (Getxophoto, 2013), in Switzerland (Biel Festival of Photography, 2011), etc. My first monograph, titled “Coming shortly: Sarajevo”, is published by Les Editions Intervalles (Paris, 2016).
