The serie is presented with the following text: "When love moved from my hometown to another city, I noticed how easily places lose their value. Sailing between the two cities I search for similar places in them, but instead of something real I only seem to find empty stages." This serie of photographs has been taken in the first stages of a relationship turning into a long distance relationship; of the process of trying to come to terms with the changing relationship the person has with the two cities. The city where he still lives is missing a vital part of it and the other one is strange and unfamiliar. The person tries to find similarities in the cities by photographing them, but instead of familiarity he only finds the very image of the alienation taking place in his mind. The photos are in sets of three, each has 1 photo from Turku, 1 from the boat in between, and 1 from Stockholm.
